I just received a jpg as an attachement to an email. It opens on my computer using Preview, but then will not allow me to save it anywhere ("you do not have permission, go to Finder and open Info". I want to save it to an iPhoto album.
Also, can I make iPhoto the default for opening ALL photos? |

Firstly, iPhoto doesn't "open" photos, it stores and catalogues them and will display photos that it has already stored.
Are you using Mail for your email? I think that there is an option to put the photo direct into iPhoto there by using the Preview/Quicklook button(not at my Mac at the moment and can't remember which one!!) If not just drag the attached jpg onto the iPhoto icon that's in your dock, or into the main iPhoto window. |
