Hi,

I have a 20inch 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAWM imac running on 0S X 10.4.11.

Is it possible (and easy and cheap enough) to upgrade the OS system so that I can run Adobe CS5? I'm not sure whether I would need to go up to leopard or snow leopard or if it is even possible without buying a whole new imac.

Thanks,

abirow

You can easily run Snow Leopard, and the upgarde is perfectly possible and as easy as inserting the disc and following the instructions. As it archive and installs by default you keep your data, though still best to have it backed up.
There is always discussion that you should get Leopard first and then Snow Leopard, but there is no need.
$29 buys you SL, cheap is not the word, bargain.
