Desk top folder disappeared.

One of my desk top folders disappeared and i don't know what the he** happened to it. I didn't throw it in the trash so how can i retrieve it?

Was it on the actual Desktop, or in the Dock?

hmmm can you just do a spotlight search for the folder title? if you find it, drag it out to the desktop again
