OS 10.3 - Errors when I try to print

No matter what program I am using, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Word, when I go to print I get an error message that says "the application .... has unexpectantly quit". and the program shuts down. I really need to figure out why this keeps happening. What can I do to fix this?

Power Mac G4 1gh 512 ram OSX 10.3.9

Repair your permissions first. If that does not work, uninstall the printer drivers, reboot, then reinstall them. Then try again.
