Upgrade Help Please

I have a 2007 Macbook that is currently running Tiger OS 10.4.11. My spouse recently purchased a brand new Macbook that has Snow Leopard OS X v10.6. After using my spouses computer I really like Snow Leopard better then Tiger. Would I be able to use the software that came with my spouses MacBook to upgrade my older Macbook? Thank you for the help. |

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
