I haven't tried this yet, and I was wondering if using the cat command would work on combining audio files. I would like to combine a few audio tracks that I got from an audio book that I purchased so that it all runs in one track when I put it on my ipod.

Thoughts? Is there a better way to go about this?

yeah, cat should work if the audio files are the same format. Audacity is also good and free.

cat audio1.mp3 audio2.mp3 > audio3.mp3
QUOTE Thanks
