my computer has been doing CRAZY things lately, ha.

clicking the left mouse button often acts as a right-click

'system preferences' has gone missing

all sorts of issues.

i'm running tiger on my '06 desktop, bought a SnowLeopard disc a while ago that i havent used yet, and figured hey why not just wipe this thing clean, and start anew with 10.6?

What do i need to know about completely emptying this thing out and beginning with my 10.6 disk???

Any help is greatly appreciated, i'm pretty dependent on this comp 2-3 days a week for both work and school. Thanks guys!

No it wouldn't, it's for Leopard.

You can install Snow Leopard straight on top of Tiger. Just put the disc in and follow the instructions, but do a backup of your Mac first.

I only have a couple of things i want to keep, that i plan on saving to an externalHD, and then i'd like to completely wipe the comp clean
