Extra monitor help?

Alright i have an extra monitor hooked up to an iMac and i would like a really easy way to click up top at the Bar with like an icon to shut the other one down because i use it as a tv. I am sick of driving my cursor into the other monitor. any ideas?

i use a HDMI switcher for this. just press a button and it switches the input for the TV.

See I can change the input from PC(VGA) on my tv, to my composite and mac won't recongnize it so im looking for a software way to do this.
