I'm trying to add my HP PSC 1510 printer, but I get the following: "client error request value too long."

You could also try installing the drivers, if you haven't yet.

The printer has worked before (years ago). I'm not sure why it's not working now. I uninstalled all the software and drivers, then re-installed it. The same error message appeared. I'm running 10.4.11 on a MacBook.

And how did the troubleshooting tips from the first link I posted work out for you?
