I downloaded flipmac and my toolbar view changed. Now it's a very busy looking mess! I deleted the program and tried restarting the IMac and the stupid new toolbar is still there.

Is there an easy way to put it back?

G;day and welcome to the forums.

Did an uninstaller come with the software package? If so do another install and then run the uninstaller.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Can only "assume" you mean Flip4Mac. Haven't a clue where or what toolbar you're talking about as Flip4Mac does not install any toolbar.

If you want to try removing Flip4Mac properly, you'll probably need to reinstall it again and then head for Applications - open the Flip4Mac folder and use the uninstaller that's provided.

It did install a custom toolbar which I really hated as it was way too busy for my liking. I did install it again and then I used the uninstall program which removed the Ripoff Flipoff program. I then saw another box that said "uninstall toolbar."

I did and it worked......Yeah!!

Thanks for you help....!

I'd like to see a screenshot of this toolbar if it was from Flip4Mac.

Or a link from where you downloaded it.

(Maybe you installed the Pro version instead of the free version? I've never installed that one.)
