I have a g4 with os 10.3.9 and I'm looking to install 10.5. But before I do I need to find out if it's going to erase other software. Or does it just overide the original operating system and leave everything else unaffected? Somebody please help!!!!!!!!!

"Overwrite" is how I would term it...but yes, that's pretty much the way it works. But it doesn't hurt to back things up just in case something does go wrong.
