leopard install

ok heres my question im trying to install leopard on my g4 im wanting to get away from tiger but i cant burn my image because my g4 doesnt have a dvd burner of any sort so im wondering if i can install it from my ipod classic its 160 gigs and it has nothing on it right now from me screwing with the partitions lol now its just empty is there a way to do this?

Yes. Buy a Leopard install disc. Make sure it is the black retail DVD and not a silver grey model specific issue. It will only cost about $125.00.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

well i would lol if it had a dl dvd player. i backed up my disk on my friends pro thinking the ipod way would be really easy but i was wrong


and my punctuation keys work just fine lol

You do not need a DL player. The DL disc will be able to be read on any DVD reader. You only need the DL option for burning DL discs.
