Mac mini freezes after 10.6.6 updateI have a 6 month old 2.53ghz mac mini that has always run perfectly. I updated it to 10.6.6 and noticed that when I click on my browser or on itunes, it gives me the beach ball and I have to force shut down my computer. It won't even let me force quit. Now when I restart it goes to a light blue screen and the beach ball is spinning but nothing else. I can't get to my backup drive because it won't let me. I can't repair permissions because I can't get that far. I've unplugged all usb drives I don't need. Any suggestions?

I too am having issues after the 10.6.6 update. For the first time in 2 years of Mac ownership, my machine was frozen this morning. I had to hard reset. Then it took forever to be usable, as I think it was re-indexing everything for spotlight. App launching gives the SBBOD for about 10 seconds.....very frustrating. I am looking on the Apple message boards and seeing similar issues from a lot of people, so it seems that Apple borked something on this release. Can only pray that they push an update quickly.
