Can I use the Mac OS X Install DVD that came with my new 15" MacBook Pro to upgrade my older MacBook Pro 15" (running leopard) to snow loepard?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The license is one disc - one install unless you have the Family Pack.

No, it will not install on your older machine.

Snow Leopard is $29. Grab a copy to upgrade.

The Grey Install discs that come with a Mac will only work on that Mac. You'll need to buy a copy of Snow Leopard.
