Im going to Hawaii tomorrow and i am trying to figure this out so we can watch some video while there through my laptop.. if i can i would like not to use any other software that is with itunes just because i hate 900 apps on my mac.. sorry if im in the wrong forum.. thanks everyone..

i apologize for the original post. seems with a little research on this site i was able to rectify the problem without downloading anything.. seems all you have to do is upload from your camera directly to imovie and it will do the rest for you including conversion to .mov.. again sorry but thank you for the consideration..
