Hope this is the right forum. Is it possible to sort a list of items in Pages without making it into a table? I have posted this question in Google and an answer gave "Services - Format - Sort lines ascending" but mine doesn't have that option. There is no "format" under "Services". Is this possible?
QUOTE Thanks

Don't think so, whenever I needed to sort text I post it into Numbers, sort it and then repaste it into pages.
Or I use this, Sort Text Lines in Alphabetic, Length, Random, Reverse Order

I don't have that option in the services menu either, and it doesn't exist in the System Preferences either where it could have been turned off.
The answer you got on Google is probably a function added by some application you don't have, as applications can add things to the services menu.
