Someone - or something, more like it - seems to have hijacked my email account. I can receive mail on my Mac mail program (I have a Bell/Aliant sympatico account) but I can't respond to it nor can I simply send mail.
The webmail version on my server works fine though and the server claims the problem must be with the Mac mail program. Apple tells me the problem is with the server. Classic. Anyone else have this problem. It certainly sounds like a virus but, again, the Apple folks tell me Macs don't have viruses (and I haven't encountered one before) but I'm at a loss as to what to do, short of killing a 10 year old email address and I'd hate to have to do that! |
