Can't setup wireless connection for HP printer

I am attempting to set up my printer to operate wirelessly. I have the computer and printer connected via USB for the setup.
The printer and router are in same room with nothing blocking them.
I have an :
PRINTER : HP All In One Photosmart C4385
ROUTER : Linksys wireless B (WPA security)
COMPUTER : Macbook Mac OS 10.5.8 notebook.
I've downloaded the correct HP software.
On the printer, the wireless radio is set to "on"
PROBLEM : Using the HP Setup Assistant, I select my Wi-Fi network, and get an error message " the selected Wi-Fi network is not within reach of the device"

Turn off WPA temporarily on the router and try again. Let us know.

When you installed the driver from printer cd, did you add the printer correctly? also, did you input the password correctly?
