even after i went into safari preferences general remove download list items and changed it the seccond i download something and it finishes it dissapers from the downloads list i can find it in macintosh HD but its a pain in the neck doing it each time i download something, ive even tryed changing it than quiting safari and the re opening safari no luck, whats wrong?

my Mac can fly

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz OS X.9.4

Are your downloads saving to the normal place, Downloads, under the Go > Home Menu?

If so simply drag the Download folder to your Dock and see if that works.

You have Safari set to Manually and it's still zapping the downloads from the list?
