macbook pro wont load

forever is offline
my macbook pro wont load into tiger 10.4 have got a broken os x disk seems I installed some programs in os x and when restarted wont load stays at the gray window with the apple symbol have forgotten my adimatrative password to get into. what shall I do now without buying a new os x

Mac Specs: MacBookAir5,2:10.9.4-MacMini3,1:10.9.4-iPhone6,1:7.1.2

XJ-linux is offline
So, are you able to boot to the Apple installation DVD (the DVD is grey in color) that came with the laptop and get the installation menu and what not? Do you have data on the hard drive that you want to keep, or are you attempting to do a clean installation? Are you attempting to upgrade your current installation to 10.4 from an earlier version on OS X, or trying to repair a 10.4 installation that had previously been working? I'm not really sure from your description where to start.
