i'm trying to upgrade from tiger to snow leopard. i keep getting this error in my error log:

Oct 3 21:05:23 localhost Unknown[80]: 2010-10-03 21:05:23.110 Mac OS X Installer[151:c703] FSOpenIterator failed.

approximately every 43 seconds, it shows up. i've tried updating it a few times. tonight, i also got this error:

Oct 3 21:06:40 localhost Unknown[80]: 2010-10-03 21:06 Mac OS X Installer[151] (CarbonCore.framework) FSEventStreamStart: ERROR: FSEvents_connect() => Unknown service name (1102)

does anyone know what these mean or how i can resolve them?

i have the log uploaded down here; if you scroll to the very bottom, you'll see both errors together.
