Hi, i'm new to the forum and have searched the threads for an answer but couldnt find one easily

I have been running Mac OS X 10.4.11 for several years now and want to upgrade, can i simply upgrade to Snow Leopard buying the upgrade or do i have to upgrade to Tiger first?

Tiger is OS 10.4...so if you already have 10.4.11 on your computer...then you already have Tiger.

As far as upgrading to Snow Leopard...you didn't tell us what model computer you have. Tell us your Mac's specs.

Here's some specs of the Mac

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.2 GHz

Do you need to know anything else?

Just wanted to see if you had an Intel based Macintosh. You do...so you could upgrade straight to OS 10.6 Snow Leopard.
