So i just bought myself a macbook today. I first installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard instead of "Mac OS X Install DVD, and Application install DVD. Im not sure if i was suppose to install the cds it came with first or after, but after i finished installing snow leopard into my macbook it told me to reboot it, so i held the power button untill it shut down then restarted it. After that it keeps on repeating to reboot your macbook -.- soo i have no clue what to do now. Please help

Why did you feel you needed to install Snow Leopard on a brand new Macbook?...it should have been installed already.

What install disks do you have?...I'm assuming if I'm reading your initial post correctly you have:

- the stand alone Snow Leopard install disk
- the "gray" disks that came with the computer

Also...exactly what model Macbook do you have?

Your Macbook should have shipped with Mac OS 10.6.3. What version of 10.6 is your Snow Leopard disk?

If it's lower than 10.6.3...it may not work with your Macbook...since the Macbook may need at least 10.6.3 (with 10.6.4 being the newest).

You probably need to install the OS from the "gray" disk..."Disk #1".

the version was 10.6, so that explains why it wasent installing correctly, and I rebooted the mac and held the option button and now i am going to install the grey disks..
