Leopard to Snow Leopard?

My daughter has a 2 year old iMac and is going to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard. If she dosen't backup, anthing special I should tell here that may change?

Its always suggested to backup as anything could happen I personally have not experienced losing anything going from Tiger to Leopard to SL but if you read the forum
others have.

Mac Specs: 2008 15" MBP ML, 2012 21.5" iMac ML

ALWAYS backup prior to an update of any kind or installing a new app. Just common sense and protecting your A**.
As far as the move from Leopard to SL, you won't lose anything and won't notice any major changes if you just do the upgrade.

16GB iPhone 5, 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 1st Gen.
