OS 10.3 - indexing HDD

Hello, i was wondering if you can set 10.3 to index like once a week or more doesnt mater to me, can you even set it to do it automatically?, thank you for your help!

10 views and no one even has an answer like ven a yes or a no to if you can set it to do it auto, i bet most of you dont even know what indexing is
mac= indexing
pc= defragment
