Friend of mine just gave me this G4 500 and I am having some issues installing OSX on it? When I put the OSX CD in the drive it is telling me that "this CD is not readable by this computer." I am already running OS 9.2.2 fresh install and I would like to just run OSX if that is possible. Any help is much appreciated!
QUOTE Thanks

What was the resolution to your problem? For those individuals that come along later with the same problem.

Yeah, I'm interested in knowing. Where you using CD-R's? I find that sometimes my Mac, just after burning, spits a message out like that. I can still see it, and use it. It just spits that message out. Obviously if your booting from it, it won't let you go any further. If that makes sense
