DogKnob is on a distinguished road

Whenever I run "Verify/Repair Disk Permissions" in Disk Utility, it always fixes a whole bunch of files. I began to wonder if any of my apps were changing my permissions, so I did the following:

1. Quit all apps
2. Turned AirPort off
3. Repair Disk Permissions
4. Removed all login items from my user account
5. Restart
6. Verify Disk Permissions

To my surprise, with no apps running at all, I was presented with a lengthy list of permissions that needed repairing again. Here's the list:

1. When you deleted Front Row, did you use an uninstaller application? If not, there are probably some library files still in existence.
2. Try repairing permissions with OnyX Titanium's Software • Download. It does a better job than Disk Utility.
