Upgrade 10.5 to 10.6 from ISO?
I have an Air I need to update to 10.6. My job provided me with the iso but it wasn't until I got home that I realized it's a dl sized file and I don't have any dl burners at home.

Can I dump the iso to an hfs formatted usb key and do the update from there or do I need to convert it to a dmg first?

Here are some instructions on how to do it using Leopard and an external hard drive or even an iPod. You should be able to do the same thing with your USB key drive provided it's large enough to hold it. LINK
