Ok, so 5 months ago I updated my mac from 10.4 to 10.6. I recently started a new profile for a member of my family so they could use their iPhone4 and noticed some features that aren't on my admin account... For example the new account has stacks whereas my own personal account (the admin one) does not. Is this because I did a simple update install instead of a erase and install? Please, any tips on how to get my account using all the features of 10.6?

You just need to drag the folder from your user folder, or desktop, to the right side of your dock, where you want the stacks to be. Or, Create folders that you want and put them there.
I don't know where or how you went wrong, but that's the stacks solution.... what are the features do you not have?

Well, as I have never had any snow leopard features I'm not all together sure what I'm missing, but I haven't seen any change bar an increase in speed since upgrading.. And thanks for the help by the way!

That is Snow Leopard.

So, you think that it never had any Stacks? Is it possible that it did at first and you don't recall because they got "poofed" early on? You do know how easy it is to remove things from the Dock, right? At least it's not a big chore to put them back...
