Does anybody have any good web sites/books that would help me learn the Mac OS? I dont mean like real real basic but I am brand new to the system thanks!

The Missing Manual series is great, I don't think Tiger is in print yet but the Missing Manual for Panther covers most and goes from beginner to advanced. Worth every cent :-)
The Apple Support website covers everything including the kitchen sink. There are 9 pages of manuals available for download. Their discussion forum has many links for Apple software available too.
