first message and peace to all mac heads
![]() i am suspecting my macbook which is in its default settings got hacked when i was connected to my neighbors wifi thru airport (directory names changed, its unbearably slow, console crashes; cant read system.log to know what happened, connection was without password ... so .. 1) is it possible to reinstall console without reinstalling osx so i could peek into system.log 2) i checked with another log viewer and it looked the previous info had been deleted 3) if so, should the previous info about the attack be in cache where i could eg. grep it ? 4) does anyone have any tips for programs that monitor traffic so i could get his IP and notice the authorities Last edited by milfiger; 05-21-2010 at 04:26 PM.
