I switched from Windows to Mac the past week or so and wondering on what Mac users recommended for firewall settings. I do have my firewall turned on, but in advanced I see stealth setting as well. I do a lot of wifi at home, but then I do a lot of wifi at public places like coffee shops, hospitals, restaurants, etc. So is it wise to enable stealth mode too or just the basic turn on the firewall is good enough?

Stealth mode should suit you fine.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
