The Windows partition will remain untouched unless you specifically erase the entire hard drive or re-partition it.
Having said that, it's always prudent to make a backup before messing with your hard drive. Also, why do you have to format your OS X partition? If you have some problem or issue with OS X, perhaps we can assist. Formatting should be the very last resort. Regards. |
