You have a very old version of Safari. It's up to 4.0.5 now. It's highly likely the problem is your use of a long-outdated version.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

Using age old browsers to view websites that you use the latest technology will always cause you problems..most large websites will try to maintain some compatibility with older browsers..but there's gotta be a cut-off somewhere..

So definitely update Safari if you can..

I agree with the others. It's probably the old web browser you are using. When new HTML programming and other internet related technology is introduced the older browsers don't know how to use them or interpret them so it is a good idea to use the latest browsers.

Just the security alone is a good reason to use the latest because an old browser doesn't have all the new security fixes. IMO web browsers are one of the few things I think is important to use the latest technology especially if you use the internet a lot. Just about all of them are free so it won't cost you anything to do so and most of them will alert you when there is an update.
