Here's the scenario,....
New HP 1160 LJ connected to G5(10.3.9) via USB and installed as a Rendezvous Printer on wired LAN. Turned on printer sharing to an Airport network with a Powerbook(10.3.9) and it doesn't show up under Rendezvous. My question is can a Rendezvous installed printer be shared out and installed as a Rendezvous printer. I'd put the printer on the Airport but I need an XP machine to print to it as well. I can get it to recognize to printer at,.. http://192.168.1.100:631/printers/hp_1160_LaserJet but am having driver issues. I know this could probably(hopefully) be resolved if I just install the printer as a USB printer and share it out that way, but am curious to know others thoughts and truths. |
