I keep getting the following notice when attempting to change a file name in a program to apply a patch:

You do no not have sufficient access privileges to rename the item "fxtool"

It is my computer and I am only user??? Help....

Where are the files stored? What are the privileges on the file (right click > Get Info > Sharing Permissions)?
