Hi guys,

Ever since installing the update, not only has my MacBook Pro been running slower, but the graphics are playing up - most annoying example is when running the 3D match engine on Football Manager the game crashes when the match starts. All was working fine on 10.6.2 - latest update has just screwed the whole thing up.

I've tried reinstalling the update, installing the combo update, restarting the laptop, repairing permissions, TechTool etc but nothing helps, does anyone have any ideas?

Try the combo update, that often clears up any issues with incremental updates

Cheers, but I've already tried that. I think I'm gonna have to try going back to 10.6.2 by the install disk but that's a real pain.

Did you check with the game developer to see if they've got a patch out?

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

It's an old version of the game so they don't do patches any more. It must be something to do with a graphics tweak they did in the latest update.
