Help! Deleted playlist!

I accidentally deleted my favorite playlist from my iTunes (which if you ask me they should make it harder to do). I luckily backed up a few days ago so I still have it on my external drive. Can anyone please help in telling me how I "transfer" that playlist from my external back up to iTunes again? Thanks

How did you back up... Time Machine? Carbon Copy Cloner?

Either way, you're going to have to locate the backup "iTunes Library" data folder and swap it with the current one. I think. Someone back me up on that.

Go to Library>>Preferences and then there should be a couple files named "com.apple.iTunes.plist" Try copying those over to the same place on your system and see if it works.
