Do keep in mind that the Genius Bar specializes in Apple products. VMWare Fusion is a product of VMWare. So, while they may have some anecdotal experience with it, it's not necessarily something they are professionally familiar with.
As a network admin, I am well versed in VMWare products and can typically answer any related questions. Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |
