Just a quick question-former PC user and now fairly new Mac user and was wondering how am I able to have multiple web pages open at the same time. After going through the tutorials, buying books in regards on Mac OS X Snow Leopard and searching this forum I am not able to find what I am looking for.Not sure if has to do with Spaces-Tabs-Expose.
There is probably a simple answer but it escapes me. Thanks. Pete. |

Errrr… in Safari, you just go to File > New Window (or New Tab). Or press CMD-W (or CMD-T).
Standing request for all troubleshooting: Please provide your Mac model/year and OS version. Also advise us if you have used or installed any antivirus, security, or "cleaning" software on your Mac. If you have installed MacKeeper in particular, you are hereby advised to uninstall it. --------- If all else fails to fix your problem, read this tip. |

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth. In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus. Place your vote for our Member of the Month |

It has nothing to do with Spaces or Expose, but it can relate to Tabs. That is, you can have two or more websites open in different windows, or have them open in different Tabs within the same window.
Here are some more tips for you: Open two tabs. Click and hold a tab, and drag to the edge of the window, and keep dragging until, Presto! a new window opens with that web page on it, and the tab in the other window disappears. Conversely, with two windows open, grab the top of one and drag it onto the other window. The window you're dragging will disappear, and it will be in a new tab in the other window. With two windows open, invoke Spaces. Grab one of the windows and drag it over into another Space. Now you have your browser running in two Spaces. ...or three, or four, etc. |
