on my mbp i'm dual booting using boot camp with latest snow leopard and windows 7.

i ran out of room on windows 7 (full of games :]) so decided to make a fat32 partition from my mac partition.

after choosing my volume and format i partition the drive ( 75Gig fat32)

now when i try to boot OS x it wont acknowledge that OS x exists. so i ran my osx install disk and ran disk utility. disk utility told me that my new partition had been created successfully and that my os x partition was formatted as fat (it still has all my files though)

i further investigated and looked at the drives in windows 7 it says that the os x drive is formatted as HFS.

i assume that i have to save all my files and re-install os x (which is a major drag) but does anyone have another solution for me?

also, will re-installing os x have any effect on my boot camped windows 7?

thanks

if nobody can help me with a solution could you comment on whether it will effect windows.

and if there are any abnormal things that might come up when re-installing snow leopard (i am aware that i'll have to re-format the drive first using disk utility)

actually, what do i have to format it as?
QUOTE Thanks
