HI GUYS!
Im in need of immediate help. i recently bought the Sony HDr-Xr 520V, a beautiful camcorder with 240Gb of Hardrive. have already shot a lot of footage but when i tried to upload it to my Tiger(OS - X) MacBook Pro it just wouldnt happen coz the camcorder is designed for direct upload only to PC. Now i need one of you Mac Experts to please help me out and let me know how do i get my footage into my macbook pro? i did see online a video converter and also came to know that imovie 09 could do it but the main problem is that imovie 09 comes with ilife which needs a OS leopard. please advise the best way to capture my footage really really apreciate it! thanks MacBhai Power To The MACS of this World!! |

It would appear that this has been discussed, and the answer is ...
upgrade to iLife 09 and Leopard. Might as well go for the Mac Box Set (or at least Snow Leopard/iLife 09) since Snow is ideal for all Intel-based Macs. Sorry. Blame Sony. |
