Log-in problems with my Mac OSX

Hi,

My Mac OSX laptop got stuck and i restarted it
when i wanted to login it looks likes it logging in but after half a minute or so it returns me too the login screen
anybody any idea what this is

Hmmm - OS = Jaguar or Panther or Tiger or Leopard or Snow Leopard. Model of laptop?
