I recently purchased my friends Mac powebook OS X. I've asked him for his administator name and password but he doesnt remember. I would really LOVE to use wireless internet! How can ifix this so all the info is in my name? Please Help me!

Just put in the operating system discs in and boot off them and choose reset password from the installer menu

yea thats what i did when i got mine of a mate

also if you cant even pick up your wirless signal check the connection under the battery and follow the instructions under there

You may also want to reset the router/modem aswell. Every once and a while when I go to set up a fresh install I wont get a signal at all with my airport cards and i simply have to reset the modem but sometimes it works by simply resetting the router. I usually try the router first but most of the time I have to just reset the modem.
