I have updated to Leopard 10.6.2 and am trying to move files from one external hard disk to another. During the transfer i keep getting the message' cannot complete transfer as (filename) already exists' . My problem is before starting the transfer the file was NOT on the other disc and the old message " you want to replace the existing file' does not appear. Anybody know what is going on.
QUOTE Thanks

I'm not going to be able to help you, but I suspect anyone who could will need to know exactly how these external hard drives are communicating with one another, and possibly with your internal drive as well.
