After installing Snow Lepoard my system slowed down to an almost unusable level. I have just discovered some of my images (I'm a photographer) in a folder called mode on my main hard drive. Having put these images in the correct place and deleting the Mode folder, my system is now permorming as it should. I dont know whether this helps anyone Im not that technical with the Mac but thought I would share this.
