Running the latest "snow leopard" under "windows xp/VMWARE"

Hello. I wanna start doing development for the iphone/itouch and i know you require a licence etc etc for the SDK but also you need a mac too. So i thought could i use the latest "snow leopard" under VMWARE and would it be ok under my laptop. I've got a decent laptop, its a sony vaio 2Ghz dual core but it's got an ATI hd3450 card and i know OSX doesn't support this, but would it still be ok under vmware? If i know its going to work i'm going to purchase a copy of snow leopard as i'm dying to play with the accelormeters within the ipod:-D.

As per section 2A of the OS X EULA, "You agree not to install, use or run the Apple Software on any non-Apple-branded computer, or to enable others to do so". You won't be getting any help here with installing OS X on a non-Apple computer.
