All my Office '08 apps would open; error message details of error message as follows: HELP, PLEASE. I am a MAC Newbie!

Have you tried uninstalling the application and then reinstalling it?

thanks, that's what i'm going to try now. fingers crossed. ps this is also the first time i've ever tried a forum. hard to imagine, isn't it?

Also, make sure you install the latest updates and service packs for MS Office 2008. If you have any further problems with MS Office for Mac, you might want to post a question to the MS Mac Office forum located here. That's where all the Office experts hang out.
