Not sure if in the right section, I find after a few mins my screen dims down in brightness, anyway to stop this?

Check your System Preferences in the Displays and Energy Saver sections.

It's in the Energy Saver section - uncheck the item that says something about dim display before sleep.

System Preferences > Energy Saver > uncheck "Automatically reduce brightness before display goes to sleep." Good luck.
