Sorry I changed questions. I just downloaded mac janitor and when I click on the file there is no default app to open; it asks me to choose an application. Could anyone explain this? Tia

Not sure what happen. You might want to downlaod another copy to be sure that it is not corrupted. Once you have downloaded a new copy, you should have a new .dmg and a virtual disk (filesystem) mounted on your desktop. OPen up the white disk icon (doulbe click), then drag an drop the application (Mac Janitor) into your application folder. Then you can unmount by dragging the virtual disk (white icon) to the trash.
